You've made us conscious

Just when I started to doubt what we were doing and where this was all going, last night turned it all around. It was just another amazing show; We The Kings, The Audition, and All Time Low...(Boys Like Girls happen to be there as well, but who cares) at The Roxy. With two amazing interviews conducted; All Time Low and The Audition. The whole night in general just reminded me why I love music, why I want to be in this business, and why although it might not seem like it now, but this whole college thing will be worth it in the long run.

When I saw Black Lips at 40 Watt last month(probably one of the best nights of my life) we talked to Ian (guitarist) after the show and he told us how he feels knowing how to make good contacts is very important in life, and then Alex from All Time Low said a very similar thing in our interview with them. And it's true. It's all about who you know. But in my situation, honestly anyone can do this whole "music journalist" thing, but having some credentials behind you just make it that much better in my opinion. Which is why if I can't technically be a journalism major, then an English major will be just fine.

The Academy Is... in exactly one week(masquerade).
Saosin and Norma Jean in one week and two days(masquerade).
Paolo Nutini in two weeks and a day(tabernacle).
It's gonna be amazing!!!

Don't think you're more than this, or above all this
With your "blah blah blah" and all your friends
Don't say you think you know when you know you don't
Because tonight the bulls are in Brooklyn and you're still at home
Some people have it and other people don't

Calm down. It's not a competition.
