Get me some parchment and a quill

I think as technology gets more and more advanced we are slowly losing some of the most special and intimate forms of communication, such as letter writing. I want a pen pal. I had one like a year ago, we met through My Chemical Romance(yeah), but we lost touch. I think that's the problem with everything I do. I'll start something then either lose interest or get distracted and never go back. Such is the story of my life. But this time I'll make myself stick with it. Plus I love getting mail. :)

So we've been in the new apartment, aka "Casa de CHAOS" for a week now. I can't explain how wonderful it is to live in my own apartment and to be able to live with my best friends. Yes we get on each others nerves at times, but at the end of the day all of that is put behind us. Plus I don't think that any of us could stay mad at the other for more than a minute...well maybe 5lol . It's probably one of the best decisions I've made and I'm so lucky to have these 3 amazing ladies in my life. Makes it a little better.

As far as school goes. That's the same ol same ol. I'm taking an Anthropology class which seems like it's going to be very interesting. A lot of people don't know this, but there once was a time when I really considered becoming anEgyptologist . I think I'll keep that as a hobby for now. I'm also taking English, a New Media class, which also seems like it'll be very interesting, and a Journalism class that's intro to print media...yep, this CHAOS girl is on top of thingslol.

Speaking of CHAOS, there have been some ups and downs recently, but everything is a learning experience. We can't expect everything to go our way all the time. We're very lucky to get to do the things that we do now. And for every bump in the road, there are a ton more things that are going to be happening for us. We've done some really fun interviews with some amazing bands recently and we've got some more coming up. There's one band in particular I'm really excited about because they're from Australia and they'll be our first "international" interview if you will. Plus I really love their music and they're not only playing a show in Atlanta, but they're coming to Athens too. I'm trying to help them with booking the Athens show, which is cool because it's always fun to bring a band that you really like to your city.

F.Y.I.- The CHAOS girls + 80s one hit wonders + YouTube = Insanity

We each have our distinctive 80s song:
KristenCHAOS- "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" by Bonnie Tyler
AshleyCHAOS- She says anything by Culture Club so I'm giving her "Karma Chameleon"
LaurenCHAOS- "Take On Me" by A-Ha

I'm trying to get mine changed to "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley though. Best song ever! :)

Well it's almost 2:30am and I have an 11:15am class tomorrow, so I need to get some sleep. Tonight I'm listening to the wonderful amazingly talented 20 year old Scottish singing sensation Paolo Nutini. I swear, that boy's voice melts my heart. I can't even describe it. I still kick myself for missing his first Georgia show(stupid Halifax playing the same night lol). It was back in March at Smiths Old Bar. This was way before he was as popular as he is now. And 5 months later, everyone knows Paolo and the he's playing the fricken Tabernacle now. Oh how I wish I could've kept him in my back pocket for a little longer. But I will definitely be there, front row, trying not to pass out haha.
